(b. 1995) is an artist from Riga, Latvia and has been living and working in London since 2021. After undertaking a BA in ceramics at the Art Academy of Latvia (2020), she acquired her Masters degree at the Royal College of Art (2022). Working in an interdisciplinary manner across several different mediums including ceramics, glass and metal, she is focused on developing various narratives that challenge the use of ceramics through installations and sculptural pieces. Resulting in a state of flow between the space the pieces inhabit and the fusion of antipathetic materials, her work allows the viewer to interact with her pieces in unique ways. Recent exhibitions include ‘Archive of Fragility’, Kim?, Riga, LV (2024); Martinson’s Award, Mark Rothko Center (2023); ‘Decentrality dispersed in one place’, Padure Manor, Padure, LV (2023); ‘Black Market 3’, Kim?, Riga, LV (2022); ‘Synchronicities’, Vagonu street, Riga, LV (2022); My Empty Shell, Candid gallery, London, UK (2022); Security Patterns, Low Gallery, LV (2022); Synchronicities, Pilot gallery, Riga, LV (2021); Sculpture Quadrennial, Riga, LV (2020). Her work is in the collection of Odunpazari Modern Museum, Eskisehir, TR and VV Foundation, Riga, LV.
